I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Anny Noben Slegers.
I have here, in front of me, a (paper) bookmark with her “Washington
Monument” lace printed on it.  I think it was the Washington DC Convention
in 2011 where we were given them.  She made some remarkable lace, and will be
sadly missed.

[lace] Arachne Christmas Exchange

I received my last exchange today, a beautiful purple tatted snowflake from
Sue Duckles.  I knew it was going to be late so it just made it before I pack
my Christmas stuff away.  Poor Sue had lots of problems in December, worst
being a frozen, then burst pipe in the walls of her home.  There is nothing
worse than plumbing problems, especially round the holidays.
I am looking forward to seeing the scans of all the exchanges when Lin manages

minus ones where my kids are in the US. We actually had it dip below freezing
