Just watching Sunday Morning on CBS and they had a piece on Vermeer and an exhibition at the National Gallery in Washington. Â I spotted two paintings of lacemakers, including his famous one, plus one I mistook for a lacemaker as the woman in the painting had a pillow on her lap. Â She was actually reading a letter. Â If you are near Washington DC, you should try to get to the exhibit. It ends on January 21.
