I was remiss in not pasting the full output of make. Confusingly buildout will intersperse normal progress messages in between error messages, in such a fashion that time seems not to be flowing continuously. This led me to miss the compile error that was fixed by installing that package. The lesson: always read further back in buildout failure output than you think that you need to. Re: [Launchpad-dev] Fwd: failure
I've seen this for a couple of reasons - missing tarball, or a mismatched version from the tarball - if setup.py reports a different version than the tarball has versions.cfg has, it will fail. -Rob ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~launchpad-dev Post to : launchpad-dev@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~launchpad-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp

I'm on holiday the rest of the week, so pretend I'm not looking at email. :-) But can someone help me understand what happened here? I see the version of lazr-js this needs in download-cache at r188. Is there something else I need to do? I've never had this issue with upgrading lazr-js before. Looks like your lazr-js egg is screwed? Possibly fallout from someone pushing a new tarball into the download cache with an old version number I recall happening recently? rm -rf eggs/lazr* Try again. -- Stuart Bishop stu...@stuartbishop.net http://www.stuartbishop.net/ ___ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~launchpad-dev Post to : launchpad-dev@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~launchpad-dev More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
