Unfortunately, Mantis is unresponsive for me now, but as soon as it is up again, I will post the patch there too. I can confirm that the patch works correctly. I used Lazarus 0.9.28.3 rUnknown with FPC 2.4.1 x86_64-linux-gtk 2 (beta). [Lazarus] bug report: I had to laugh
Hi, Anybody had the joy of experiencing the following dialog? See the screenshot in the bug report. http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=15564 Is somebody promoting bigger LCD screens, or trying to make a argument for them? :-) Regards, - Graeme - -- fpGUI Toolkit - a cross-platform GUI toolkit using Free Pascal http://opensoft.homeip.net/fpgui/ -- ___ Lazarus mailing list Lazarus@lists.lazarus.freepascal.org http://lists.lazarus.freepascal.org/mailman/listinfo/lazarus

But really is is nota problem, at linux you can move a window presing Alt+Click+Move movement... So you can move window up and see buttons :D -- ___ Lazarus mailing list Lazarus@lists.lazarus.freepascal.org http://lists.lazarus.freepascal.org/mailman/listinfo/lazarus

Anybody had the joy of experiencing the following dialog? See the screenshot in the bug report. What did you select to get such dialog? I just tested building Lazarus and didn't see it. That pops up the Confirmation dialog, which is the culprit. I guess a simple screen with message Are you sure (Y/N) would suffice. Or list the selection in a List Box component. ShowMessage() is definitely not the best choice. You are lucky that in Linux you can Alt+Drag the window. In Windows when this happens you get stuck without acess to the buttons, or you can just press Enter and hope that it will hit the button. -- Felipe Monteiro de Carvalho -- ___ Lazarus mailing list Lazarus@lists.lazarus.freepascal.org http://lists.lazarus.freepascal.org/mailman/listinfo/lazarus

Re: [Lazarus] bug report: I had to laugh
I wouldn't laugh either. I'm still running a CRT on my main computer at 1024x768, and that box well exceeds the screen boundaries. I'd suggest some sort of non-editable memo, or at least a scrollbar and window adjusted to the size of the screen.
