There is a discount dropdown list on the company (customer) screen. Right now, the dropdown list is empty. How does it become populated? How does selecting an option (once the dropdown has been populated) affect the customer's account? Most importantly, how can a product (part) be designated as non-discount (i.e, cannot be discounted on a sales invoice)? (this question is crucial to a new, prospective merchant) Thanks. [Ledger-smb-devel] Correct method to upgrade the database
Hi, I started to modify the database and the code to meet Hungarian rules and this caused that, I need to add new field to the AR/AP tables. My question is, how to handle these kind of modificatons? I found a subdirectory: sql/svn , where I can find correct upgrade steps, but I do not know the details of the file name convention. Anyway, I still working on the latest 1.3 . If this is a field we need to add to core, I would add the field in sql/Pg-database.sql, and an ALTER in sql/modules/Fixes.sql . Thank you John, I check it. I have to add a date field to AR/AP and show on invoices and screens, on lists, search on that etc. Without it the system is not ready to use here.
