IME is Input Method Editor - a Windows system thing for keyboards. I suggest you search your Windows Help files for IME. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg. RE: [LegacyUG] IME
Wow! I learn something new every day! I've never heard of this before! I went to the Microsoft site to read up on it - it's for Japanese, Korean and Chinese characters. However, it will *not* work with Legacy because Legacy doesn't support non-Western European fonts at this time plus it's only for Office related programs. The MS site says you can input Chinese, Japanese, and Korean text into any Microsoft Office XP applications, Web forms, and e-mail messages on any language version of Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows Millennium, Windows 98, and Windows NTR 4.0 with Service Pack 6 (SP6) or later. It has a pretty specific usage. Thanks for using Legacy. Sherry Customer Support Millennia Corporation [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com We are changing the world of genealogy!
