Success
Thanks I systematically unlinked each child from the parents of MRIN #265 then 
found the now parentless children and added parents using MRIN #47. Then I 
unlinked the #265 marriage. It seems so obvious now but for some reason I 
couldn't get it together until now. Thanks for the input.

you could try unlinking them from the wrong set of parents and re-linking them 
to the correct set,

I tried deleting MRIN #265 in the manner suggested, with no luck.
The children of #265 ended up with no parents. If I then give them a father 
George #139 they have no mother and if I try to add Margaret #140 as mother it 
says she is already spouse to George #139.
Which ever way I tackle it the full siblings (7 in all) appear as 1/2 siblings 
to each other and their parents (#139  #140) appear as married to eachother 
twice with different MRINs (#47  #265) even though they only married once.
Anything I try results in losing some children or messages saying the parents 
already exist.

The MRIN'S share identical marriage details. I want to merge the MRIN's as 
everything else is correct but I can't work out how to do this.
I'm stumped and very frustrated.
Any other suggestions??? Please

solution is to delete the excess marriage MRIN 265. If not make sure

Although it might be regarded by some as overkill, to be absolutely safe, I 
would not recommend using any characters, including spaces, except 
alpha-numeric, hyphens and underscores in file names.

The problem is that html gives a special interpretation to a number of 
characters, or the server may change them, in the case of a space it can become 
a “%20” which will not be recognised by a program expecting a space! One other 
thing to watch is using upper and lower case letters. Whilst Windows considers 
them to be the same html does not.

I just use what at one time was called “Polish Caps”.

Upper case the first character of each name and now space between.

you could try unlinking them from the wrong set of parents and 
re-linking them to the correct set,
this would then allow you to work out whatever bump in the road you 
have.

I tried deleting MRIN #265 in the manner suggested, with no 
luck.
The children of #265 ended up with no parents. If I then 
give them a father George #139 they have no mother and if I try to add Margaret 
#140 as mother it says she is already spouse to George #139.
Which ever way I tackle it the full siblings (7 in all) 
appear as 1/2 siblings to each other and their parents (#139  #140) appear as 
married to eachother twice with different MRINs (#47  #265) even though they 
only married once.
Anything I try results in losing some children or messages 
saying the parents already exist.

The MRIN'S share identical marriage details. I want to 
merge the MRIN's as everything else is correct but I can't work out how to do 
this.
I'm stumped and very frustrated.
Any other suggestions??? Please
