Thanks for your help everyone. I think it is time to look to upgrade to version
8.

You can't be serious. Legacy 8 has all the great features of earlier versions
of 7.5, and the programmers are still working to accommodate those who choose
to use Family Search. I don't, but no harm if it remains an option.

So, does Family Search now control Legacy? Seems that way since Legacy 8 was
developed to accommodate Family Search, and has yet to really work for people
with ongoing projects.

And now, good, reliable, steady Legacy 7.5 is left an orphan. So sad a good
program was abandoned in search of a dubious Holy Grail.

Family Search keeps changing their access interface. Legacy 7.5 FamilyTree
Access is broken and will not be updated. If u need FamilySearch, you will need

[LegacyUG] Source Picture issue with Family Group Sheets

2014-08-21 Thread Wes Jester
I am using Legacy Deluxe 8.0.0.439 on an IBM Windows 8.1 64 bit computer
with 6 GB.

I select Family Group Sheets from the Report Menu, then Report Options.
Pictures is the last tab on the right. I can select Picture of Husband
and Picture of wife. however, when I try to select Include Master
Source Pictures or Include detail source pictures nothing happens.
Actually, there is a bit of a flash as the Set Source Options goes from
Gray to Black then back to Gray again.

Interestingly, the same selections appear in the Source tab, but are
grayed out. No selection is possible.

I have been unable to find anything in the archives regarding this issue.

Is this a feature or am I doing something incorrectly.

It works fine for me. What type of picture is attached and what are all
the various options you have selected for the Report?

Look at your Source options. If you have the option to combine multiple
sources for a fact/event into a single paragraph selected you cannot
include source pictures.
