Carol,
The Pedigree Chart is a very formal chart with strict formatting.
If you request pictures they are included if there is room and they are 
the size that fits in the room available.

There is nothing you can do about it.
I recently suggested to the programmer that picture option be removed 
entirely from the Pedigree Chart because of this problem - but he 
decided to leave them as is.


If you really want a nice chart with pictures, use Legacy Charting. You 
can choose what information is in the boxes and the size of the boxes.

See the options on each of the items on the Appearance Ribbon.
If you want to prioritise the pics, start with the Mug Shot theme.
For any theme you can change the box items displayed.
You really do need to play with the various appearance options in Legacy 
Charting to learn how to use it.
Each chart type has a default theme but you can change to others and you 
can modify each one.

I've created a 5 generation pedigree and requested pictures.  Only 
some of them
are displayed, although all of the people on the chart have 
photographs.  Anything
I can do to correct this?  They are also varied sizes, from tiny to 
medium.

[LegacyUG] Report has wives in wrong order

I noticed that for someone in my database, the order of his wives is shown 
incorrectly in Ancestor Book Reports. I have double checked that the marriage 
date of each wife is entered accurately. The marriage status has been entered 
as divorced. However, in reports it says Johnny “next married” Elvira, even 
though she was his first wife.  He was only briefly married to Elvira and no 
children with her.

Is there a way to fix this?

my pedigree charts.  Unfortunately

The RIN persist in the child section (grid) below the marriage line – above it, 
RIN doesn’t appear. And the first thing I did was to set the options, then exit 
Legacy. Start it again, change to another “family”, observe, exit, restart. I 
still have RIN in the Child section – only 7 children. I am not confusing child 
# with RIN.

The Family Group is OK, sort of, if I turn off all the Notes and Events. But I 
want 3 generations to show.

However, whether this is an error in Legacy -  or I haven’t discovered the 
settings to change - I have done what I need to even though square bracketed 
display is superfluous.

am tweaking the usual screen display


But I can’t find the setting to _turn off_ the display of the RIN 
numbers in the Children list (in grid view)  below the usual Family 
view. I have turned off the RIN display for husband/wife, but the 
children still have it showing.


I guess I should have saved my default settings before changing the 
font size and stretch min/max, and the husband/wife RIN.
