Brian:

That did it. I had it on for people to fill in missing names and dates.

Thanks

Re: [LegacyUG] Event formatting

2024-01-31 Thread Brian Kelly

Tom,

Are those blanks there when you are editing the event itself? Your
examples look like they are from a report and inserting blanks for
missing information is a report option.

When preparing the report look in the upper left of the report options.
Do you see the settings for insert underlines for Missing? Make sure
none of those options have a check mark.

Noted events in his life were:
• He had a residence in _-_-1910 in 896 Thomas Ave., Memphis
Ward 27, Shelby, Tennessee.
• He had a residence in _-_-1910 in Memphis Ward 27, Shelby,

Is there a way to revise the default format to make them look like this?

Noted events in his life were:
• He had a residence in 1910 at 896 Thomas Ave., Memphis Ward 27,
Shelby, Tennessee.

• He had a residence in 1910 at Memphis Ward 27, Shelby, Tennessee, USA.

I have thousands of these and would like to find a way to clean them up.
