Gary, On Index View there is an Options button. Under it you will find Customise columns. On the Customise columns dialogue, in addition to being able to choose columns, there are Save and Load buttons. I suggest you report this as a problem to supp...@legacyfamilytree.com. I looked in the bug list and could not find a previous report of the issue. There is a similar problem report that columns do not resize when font sizes change but that was the only one I found related to column width in Index View.
