Repeat above steps for all the incorrect events you need to move.

Re: [LegacyUG] Moving events

2021-10-14 Thread Brian Kelly
You can use the Event clipboard but you will have to do it one event at
a time.

Go to the wrong person and display their event list.
Select one of the incorrect events and click edit
On the event screen you will see a copy event to clipboard. Click it to
copy the event (and its sources).

Go to the correct person and open their events
Click Add then use the paste from clipboard to add the event to them, save
Return to the wrong person, select the event you just copied
Click Options and select delete from the list.

NOTE: Do not delete the event before you paste it to the correct person.
The event clipboard only holds a pointer to the event so if you delete
the event before pasting it on the correct person you will be deleting
the event clipboard contents as well.

Repeat above steps for all the incorrect events you need to move.

Re: [LegacyUG] Moving events

2021-10-14 Thread Cathy Pinner

Terry,
Use the Event Clipboard.
You'll find the copy and paste icons on the Add/Edit Event form
It pastes what is in the event you copied at the time you paste so
you'll have to go back to delete them.
