How does the families app compare to Gedstar Pro. I dl Gedstar last week and it seems to work fine although you cant make changes which you apparently can with the families app. The gedstar app is free, you only have to pay for the converter so you can use it on several devices. Families you have to pay for app on every device but the converter is free. Any other differences? Got the converter installed as well. A couple of questions right off the bat. 1. How do I delete the Kennedy Sample file? 2. There is no Index view as promised. 1. Tap and hold the filename in the Family Files View then confirm deletion. 2. This refers to the search option, accessed via the “magnifying glass” icon, which provides various options including search by surname. Melissa, Try going to the Pedigree View (the box with the arrow - bottom right) and then click the spouse button.
