FS: 2015 13" MacBook Pro 3.1gHz i7 16GB 1TB

2022-09-21 Thread 'Hal' via LEM Swap
This is the 2015 version of the 13” MacBook Pro. It’s the last version before
the switch to USB-C, so it has a full complement of ports. It’s the top end
version with the following specs:

3.1gHz Dual Core i7 CPU (CTO option)
16GB RAM (CTO option)
1TB SSD (Upgraded, WD Blue SN550 1TB with Sintech adapter, very fast)
13” Retina display (with screen protector installed)
2 Thunderbolt 2 ports
HDMI port
SD card slot
2 USB3 ports
Hard shell case on it since new
Palmrest protector installed

This laptop basically looks new. No dings/dents/major scratches. The battery
has 10 charge cycles on it and holds a good charge. The Retina Display is clear
and bright with no dark/light spots or other issues. It’s had the screen
protector installed for several years, and has no marks on the display.

It’s been my backup laptop for several years, and only traveled with me once or
twice. The rest of the time it’s been on a shelf, or been used on my desk
plugged into a Thunderbolt display. It works great, looks great, and is very
fast with the 16GB of ram and the upgraded SSD.

It has a clean install of MacOS Big Sur, and will ship with the hard shell case
and an Apple Magsafe 2 AC adapter.

Asking $550 or best offer.

FS: MacBook7,1 - Mid-210 - 2.4GHz - SSD - 8GB RAM - Mint Clean

2022-09-21 Thread Wiley CoyoteSr

The SSD is new (5 hours usage) and passed DriveDx Utility testing @ 100%.
It has two partitions. One with 10.11 and the other 10.13.

Wifi, webcam, bluetooth and all ports work as they should.

The inside of the case is dust-free. The fan spins silent.

I removed the factory thermal compound and replaced it with new Arctic
Silver 5 thermal compound.

I’ve always stored the laptop inside a dual zippered soft-lined protective
carry case. See photo.

The case has preserved the laptop in near-mint condition.

The cost of a SSD and new RAM have enhanced the value. This is not the
typical 2.26 with 2GB RAM and a 160GB HD sold on eBay.

One Apple 60W power adapter is included.

Shipping will be via USPS Priority service.

$160.00 Shipping is free within continental US.

FS: Even MORE Macworlds

2022-09-21 Thread Digital Bill
The search for buried treasures continues...

Jan..-Nov. 2011 (11 issues)

Jan..-Dec. 2010 (12 issues)

Jan..-Dec. 2009 (12 issues)

Apr..-Dec. 2008 (9 issues)
44 magazines in total.

As with my previous listing of Mac mags, I'd like to get $1 apiece for
these, and ideally all sold as a lot, so that's $44 for the lot OBO +
shipping from 33618. (Considering their collective weight, local pickup may
be your best option.)

That brings the total number of Macworlds and Mac|Lifes from all three (3)
of my posts to nearly 200 issues total. If anybody wants 'em all, $100 +
shipping takes 'em.

Please let me know if you're interested or if you have any questions. I'm
still uncovering tons of old software manuals and reference books too, and
I will post them here as I inventory them.

Thanks,
Bill Wilson
