This agrees with Walter Block's view of reputation. Reputation is merely Evan's 
THOUGHTS about you, and you can not own his thoughts. So if a third party 
changes Evan's opinion of you, you have lost nothing that you previously owned.

You make an excellent point.

The Libertarian solution to problems of this nature is supposed to be
to go to the courts to sue for fraud.

But what if the courts are incompetent, corrupt, on the take, bought
and paid for, etc. What then?
