[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 157735] Small Caps Style Issue
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157735 --- Comment #5 from Elmar --- I do not understand what you are saying. The example you added seems to confirm my problem which is this: In a style, you can have every word capitalized, or you can have the sentence in small caps, but you cannot have both in the menu: after selecting the sentence, then format/text/capitalize every word, then selecting the sentence again, then format/text, tick the small capitals option you get both the alternative is to type every word with a cap first letter, then set the style to be "small caps" I guess this last option is not a burden, especially if the usual approach is not to capitalize short words, as in This is a Capitalized Sentence a style guide says: "Capitalize the first and last words in titles and subtitles, and capitalize all other major words (nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, and conjunctions with four or more letters)." OK, you win. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 157751] New: paragraph numbering -- Writer
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157751 Bug ID: 157751 Summary: paragraph numbering -- Writer Product: LibreOffice Version: 24.2.0.0 alpha0+ Master Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Writer Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: j...@cspv.hu hi, Paragraph numbering would be a very pleasant enhancement. It would allow for a comfort of not having to choose a workaround. I think it is exactly as important as line numbering, if not more. The old chapter numbering that evolved into "heading numbering" is not it. Using list function is almost there... but it excludes using other lists in the text. Also, it should be as simple as line numbering, so, it should evolve from that. - - - thank you for developing Writer! :) - - - -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Re: Proposal: build service for LibreOffice extensions

So the OBS is a very peculiar beast, and significant effort is spent, to keep it secure (for its operators & users) and efficient. Another example of such a 'build service' for a particular platform is the F-Droid repo - which also needs significant work to keep running. Both are quite successful in supporting an ecosystem & a platform though. Before discussing the requirements & implementation details of such a service, therefore perhaps the more important question (before investing TDF resources) is - does it solve a real problem? And if it does, what other options would be available to solve it? > The benefits of such a build service is as follows: > > 1. But wouldn't perhaps providing ready-made github/gitlab actions have a similar, but more universal & reusable effect? It would also be much cheaper to run & maintain. ;) > 3. With this change in place, NVDA on Windows (with the WIP branches to switch both LO's winaccessibility and NVDA to the IAccessible2 text attributes) announces the striked out text in the tdf#157696 sample document as expected. For the qt6 VCL plugin on Linux, this is not the case yet, because Qt's AT-SPI adaptor does not support the attributes yet; s.a. QTBUG-118106 [2]. Pending qtbase change implementing that: [3] While the gtk3 VCL plugin reports 2 attributes, e.g. "strikethrough: single" and "text-decoration: line-through", the ATK text attribute specification [4] only mentions a `ATK_TEXT_ATTR_STRIKETHROUGH` that can be either "true" or "false", and that is also what e.g. the gtk4-demo "Text View" -> "Markup" example does, so the suggested Qt change also does this, which means that just "strikethrough: true" will be reported when any kind of strikethrough is in place with the qt6 VCL plugin and both, this LibreOffice change and the pending Qt Gerrit change applied. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 157746] Multi-column text frame in footnote at end of document will not wrap or break text to the second column
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157746 --- Comment #2 from William Friedman --- Created attachment 190200 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=190200=edit File where you can see the problem Here also is the file I used to test. You can see the problem by switching between Footnote position "end of page" and "end of document." A few more things: * I tried it for endnotes, and the send problem happens. (I guess the title description should be broader.) * In the video I set the frame to anchor "as character" but using the other settings doesn't affect the problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 157747] New: Calc select all rows and columns
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157747 Bug ID: 157747 Summary: Calc select all rows and columns Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.5.7.1 release Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64) OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: enhancement Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: admfu...@gmail.com Description: In calc you can select all rows and columns by clicking the blank space at the start of the row and column headers. This space being blank it isn't obvious that this area does anything. It would be nice to indicate visually that this area does something when clicked on. Please consider adding an icon to indicate that an action is available. Actual Results: Upper left corner of calc sheet has no visual indication that it has an action attached to it. Expected Results: Add a visual indication that this area of a calc spreadsheet have an action that can be selected Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: While not a priority this would be a nice visual touch for new users. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
