Can the JS-enabled apps list on
http://trac.jackaudio.org/wiki/WalkThrough/User/jack_session also be updated
? Adding the version (like on this list) + 'confirmed' would be handy. (i'm
willing to update the list it but i dont have access)

how about Yoshimi, AMsynth, Ghostess ?
i know for a fact that these apps support JS, but i'm not involved in the
development so it's probably not up to me to add them to the list (+ i'm not
sure in what version JS was introduced)

BTW, I've just created an Arch Linux AUR PKGBUILD for amsynth-svn:

https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=52689

It's my first PKGBUILD, and is based on a combination of amsynth and
aqualung-svn PKGBUILDS. Haven't read docs.

Cheers,
James.

I wonder how A3 is handling this. In particular:

* Are all audio files copied to the session dir ?
* How are snapshots handled ?

Regarding snapshots, there is an inconsistency in A2.
When you save a snapshot (as opposed to using 'Save as')
the current name of the session does not change, and using
'Save' aftwards does not overwrite the snapshot. But when
you load a snapshot, its name becomes the 'current one',
and using 'Save' does overwrite the snapshot.

[LAD] jack session compatible applications?

2011-09-17 Thread m.wolkst...@gmx.de
hi,
i am interested which jack supporting audio applications currently also support
jack-session.

http://trac.jackaudio.org/wiki/WalkThrough/User/jack_session holds a list, but
i think it is a bit out dated.
imo, it would be nice, if involved linix audio devs would add her jack-session
application to this email.
a really easy way to collect a list of this apps. i am involved in hydrogen so
this is why i add only this application to this list.

greetings and thx in davanced,

Hi

I'm involved in the guitarix development, witch is already mention at
the trac.jackaudio.org list. guitarix is a multi client app and at first
we have included support for the master client, but now in SVN we are
switched to support jack_session with both clients.
We add this multi client support because Nedko tell me that he work on
support for jack_session in ladish and he need therefore a UUID for any
involved client.

Well also the outsourced gxtuner support jack_session.
