[linux-dvb] about nova TD stick

2007-02-23 Thread Jonas Anden
Hi all,

I just got myself a Nova-TD stick and plugged it in to one of my MythTV
boxes just for the fun of it ;). I've noted on the linuxtv.org web that
there is currently no support for this DVB stick. Is there any way I can
help out with that? I'd consider myself a decent programmer (although I
mostly work in Java nowadays) but I have done no kernel development
whatsoever. How difficult do you think it would be to implement a driver
for this stick? Would anyone be able to give me a push in the right
direction?

[linux-dvb] about nova TD stick

2007-01-04 Thread Giovanni
Hi to everyone.
just to improve dvb-t reception (and maybe to be also able to receive dvb-h
signal) I'm going to buy an Hauppauge Win TV-nova-td-stick receiver with
diversity frontend.
but I haven't found anything about this product (nor datasheet or info on
web)... is in this mailing list anyone who has this product? are there
information about what kind of chips are inside and if is possible to make it
works with linux?

thank you anyway.

Giovanni

Hi Giovanni,

This device has (most likely) 2 DiB7000PC inside along with two MT2266. As
of today there is no driver for the MT2266 existing in LinuxTV.

So far so bad.

Patrick.
