Re: split example configspace to submodule

In short it's like a nesting doll for git. It was developed for use of external software in own git project and easy contributing back to upstream. In fai-config context it can be just a means to an end. What do you worry about to split it out? -- regards Juri

Re: split example configspace to submodule
Hi Thomas, it's no needs to split config to separate debian package. I mean something like git clone --recursive https://github.com/gratuxri/fai-split cd fai-split git submodule foreach git pull origin master And FAI_CONFIG_SRC=https://github.com/gratuxri/fai-simple-config#master or something like that for direct install from git. submodule was added with: git rm -r examples/simple git submodule add --name simple-config ../fai-simple-config examples/simple regards Juri -- LiHAS - Adrian Reyer - Hessenwiesenstraße 10 - D-70565 Stuttgart Fon: +49 (7 11) 78 28 50 90 - Fax: +49 (7 11) 78 28 50 91 Mail: li...@lihas.de - Web: http://lihas.de Linux, Netzwerke, Consulting & Support - USt-ID: DE 227 816 626 Stuttgart
