There are no plans to continue it's development. There is an RA for Oracle that can be used with Pacemaker. Generally ASM behaves like a regular Oracle instance, so you can try it. Oracle RAC (I assume that's the context for ASM?) does not tolerate any cluster solution except itself. This is not supported together with Pacemaker. Pacemaker with the Oracle resource agent can manage a single instance fail-over for Oracle, yes. That is supported. Postgres/MySQL too. No problem...I have been trying to get it to work ...but during the failover -- the asm drivers don't appear to turn loose of the ASM -- so it won't fail overI was hoping someone had some experience in this.
