Re: Job Offers...-let's flame forever!
In the same manner one writes "I" capital instead "i" I every time wonder how well flames go before buseness. I think I asked twice for help in this list , once I haven't got an answer at all, and second time only one guy replied me. Where have been all those spell checker purists then ? As i said Gizmoz Inc. is not in the buisness of selling our users to anyone (and we have meny of them), we didn't do it untill now (Gizmoz Inc. (Zapa Digital Arts.) is up for a few good years now), and it is not part of our buisness plan. Never the less as you read, we allow our self to do it. Legaly. Thinking is not doing. ypbind problem
Hello! I'm using Suse 6.2. I am trying to transfer ypclient to broadcast mode unsuccessfully ( ypset works Ok, other platforms work Ok in broadcast mode ) When running "ypbind -broadcast -debug" , I get: broadcasting for domain compugen.co.il broadcast: RPC: Timed out. There are 3 ypbin binaries: /usr/sbin/ypbind-mt /usr/sbin/ypbind-3.3 /usr/sbin/ypbind_bsd and all yield to same result Any recommendations would be highly appreciated Elya Guyer [EMAIL PROTECTED] = To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: ypbind problem
So , if you really need client to broadcast download ypbind 3.3 , compile it , and enjoy. Let me understand , you're telling there was broadcast feature in ypbind 3.3 and now it's thrown away? Why then it tries to send broadcasts over the network? unresonable load average values
Hello! Hello! I have Dual-Xeon 500 Station, running SUSE 6.1( 2.2.12 kernel). I'm encountering the following problem: The station from time to time runs very heavy processes taking about 99% of both CPUs, During the run, first I cannot login to the station as a regular user ( although I can log as root) , second the load average is getting to fantastic values like 50.Moreover after the processes stop the load average doesn't lower and I still cannot login as a regular user. Any help would be greately appreciated. Re: unresonable load average values
Thank for the reply , but I'm talking about correctly running binaries that do very heavy computations, and it's Ok they take 99% CPU, the problem is that load average behaves inadequately , and after the jobs are over it stills remains very high.
