meeting Tues 7.30pm?
Hi all, If there's nothing else organised for tonight, is anyone interested in doing stuff to build up Software Freedom Day for Saturday week 10am-4pm? Here: http://www.library.christchurch.org.nz/South/ There will be a whole room available to CLUG members, for running demo boxes, showing DVDs, burning CDs for people, nattering at length to the general public, etc. etc. As well as a liveCD lab. Some posters are needed, notices to put places, any other ideas? Here's the team page so far: http://www.softwarefreedomday.org/teams/Christchurch It's an easy, fun FOSS promotional day out, into it's 5th year now. Always lots of newbies, if we work at it. -- Kind regards, Rik Tindall

good farriers are currently in high demand - and the money is good (assuming it's coming IN to your account rather than out) Christopher Sawtell wrote: Do we all just end up being accountants and web designers? I am pretty certain that 'ostler and farrier will be resurgent occupations in approximately a century or two.

Good. I was wondering if anyone was going to be turning up, and if, whether I should shove off home. Anyone going to the restaurant? Creativity certainly wanted. Basic info is here: http://www.softwarefreedomday.org http://www.softwarefreedomday.org/teams/Christchurch http://www.infohelp.co.nz/sfd8 Looks like the perfect live demo project for inkscape perhaps? I will get there around 8pm, and bring spare projector screen - in case of any glitch with regular supply. Thanks very much. Good luck Caleb. Regards, Rik pp SFD Team Christchurch
