Very well done! We Catalan LoCo Team did the release party in Lleida (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lleida) this time, with 100 people, speeches, tutorials and a very crowded install party. Russian LoCo faced true problems... CD pack was hold by customs. They think it was sent to organization Loco: Russia... (no person name). We can't receive it, because there is no such registered organization :( What is the period our customs will hold it? It may be possible to register such organization in time. Got the LoCo Team CDs, but without the contact me
Hi Yesterday I've got some telephone call from TNT Express (http://tnt.com) They said that I've got some package from Netherlands. I didn't remember that I asked for Ubuntu's CD's. In addition, when I get some package like that I need to pay some fee (something like 400NIS - worth 100 $) And for this time I don't think that the Israeli LoCo team have a lot of money to pay about that. I'm sorry but until we will be in agreement with some Israeli Tax System I don't think that the Israeli LoCo team can get some package like that. I had a similar problem with a package I received while Romania was not part of EU. We had an ignorat local custom officer that asked for 100euro in import tax. I then read him the law and he just gave me the package. As far as I know, in many countries there are no custom taxes for receiving occasional goods with small values.
