Re: LyX Wiki Password?
Sounds good, thanks. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't stepping out of turn. Perhaps I boldly charged ahead (and read more clearly) last time. LyX Wiki Password?
LyX Developers: I previously posted some "walkthrough" steps about compiling hunspell into LyX at https://wiki.lyx.org/Devel/Hunspell. I wanted to edit it to clarify something; however, now it is requesting a password. Is this a recent change? Regardless, can I be granted access to modify what I previously wrote (thinking the wiki was open to public editing)? Thank you, Joel

I've changed some links on the wiki under Examples/pLyX system. The various scripts, documentation etc. now live in a zipped archive on Dropbox (thank you Liviu), rather than being scattered (splattered?) through the mailing list archive. However a password is needed for the links to be approved. Andrew

Has the password for editing the wiki changed since 1.5.5? The one I've been using doesn't seem to work currently. Could someone send me the current password? Thanks. Bennett

Approve URI - should it require a password? Was: Wiki password (to approve sites)
I unintentionally introduce a requirement for passwords when approving URIs, do we want that? (The background is that approving a password requires adding an entry to the page Site.ApprovedUris, and since that entire group now requires a password...) Please let me know what you think, in the meanwhile I should be able to make it so that Site.ApprovedUrls do _not_ require a password. Best regards /Christian -- Christian Ridderström, +46-8-768 39 44 http://www.md.kth.se/~chr

Hi, in my growing praise of the Memoir class I began editing a wiki page for it (http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/UsingMemoirInLyX), where I note down some hints that I have found out since I started using Memoir in LyX. I would not at all call me a TeXpert, I am just a student of philosophy, so not the typical LaTeX-user (though a quite typical LyX-user?). Occasionally, I add some links to the wiki page, that need to be approved and the wiki tells me to ask for the password on this list. So here I am, kindly asking you either for the password or for someone else (I think Christian is the wiki maintainer, right?) to approve my sites. Thanks in advance, Maksi maximilian [dot] wollner [at] univie [dot] ac [dot] at
