I  cannot reproduce the SIGSEGV, but hat assertion is very familar
   http://www.lyx.org/trac/ticket/6513

Maybe your install of LyX doesn't abort on assertions and that is why
you get the SIGSEGV and I get a SIGABRT?

Yes.

The crash happens in lyx-svn but not in the release version.

It disappeared after manually deleting the Addsec* part.
