Not in the English manual, I guess. The manual adapts itself to the UI used by the user. If we produce PDF files to put in our web site, we have to be careful about such things, of course. Not in the English manual, I guess. But if the UI is French, also the English manual will need to use French localization. As far as the UI is concerned, yes, but dynamic translation does not make sense in the PDF export, IMHO. -- Jean-Pierre -- lyx-docs mailing list lyx-docs@lists.lyx.org http://lists.lyx.org/mailman/listinfo/lyx-docs

"Text properties" seems more appropriate, knowing the builtin styles can be found in the "Semantic Markup" column there. I intend to correct this, does it seem OK ? More precisely, I'm going to change use the Text Style dialog [...] as described in section [subsec:Fine-Tuning-with-the] to use the Text Properties dialog (Edit>Text Properties>Customize...) under 'Semantic Markup' The 'Fine Tuning' section deals with formal markup, not semantic markup. Hello, Finally I reviewed completely section 3.5.7 (sorry, I wrote section 3.7 in the git log): in addition to the editions above, I reorganized paragraphs to stick to the combo boxes of the Text Properties window (Font properties, Decoration, etc.) I had also to turn the inset info menu name Edit>Text Properties>Customize in static form: it appeared translated in French in the LyX window (which is intended I suppose for an InsetInfo tag), but also in the pdf export, which is not good at all. Comments welcome. -- Jean-Pierre -- lyx-docs mailing list lyx-docs@lists.lyx.org http://lists.lyx.org/mailman/listinfo/lyx-docs
