Solution for importing RTF documents?
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Hi... Please note that this is not a critical need, just an occasional desire. Further, I seem to remember being able to import an RTF a year or so ago, but my memory may have a parity error or something. ;) I have searched on Google and in the mailing list archives, and not found a good solution for this. I have downloaded and attempted to compile rtf2latex2e, but it fails with odd errors. The only other tools I have seen (for *nix) are for LaTeX--RTF, which do not help me as I want to go the other way. rtf2latex2e looks like a great solution, as it claims to handle equations, WMF, etc. -- but its home page has vanished and I can only conclude it's no longer being maintained. CTAN has a version 0.2.something, but version 1.0fc2 is listed on Sourceforge as most current, and that's the one that doesn't build. :( (Mandrake 8.1, gcc 2.96, i686...) Anyway, if anyone has a good solution for getting RTF files into LyX, I'd love to hear it... if not, don't sweat it; I'm sure someone else has a more urgent problem than I. :) Bye now, - -- // Carl Hudkins :: ICQ 5723399 :: PGP 50238D9E // // When two hydrogen atoms love each other very much, // they bond with an oxygen atom... --Trance Gemini, Andromeda -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8xLpblLp/6lAjjZ4RAqw7AJ4viq4kJKfHFLQDjM55/DLb1a4XcgCggpbM NoOkE53gUZ5CQVu360+20CA= =L613 -END PGP SIGNATURE-

eurosym troubles
Hello, I'm using the Eurosym package in a file that I'm working on in LyX. I had everything working fine on another linux box, but when I moved the file to a new box with the Eurosym package installed, I get the following error when I try to view the dvi of my file: grep: feymr10.log: No such file or directory mktexpk: `mf \mode:=ljfour; mag:=1+120/600; nonstopmode; input feymr10' failed to make feymr10.720pk. kpathsea: Appending font creation commands to missfont.log. xdvi.bin: Can't find font feymr10.720pk xdvi.bin: Not all pixel files were found I know I may be missing something obvious, but I've checked to make sure that I've installed Eurosym correctly, and it looks like I have. Anyway, if anyone has any pointers about how to solve this, I'd appreciate it. My brain is a little fried of late from working on this particular file (which happens to be my Doctoral Thesis!). And like I said, it does work fine on other boxes where I've installed Eurosym... TIA, Bob
