Lyx crashes when opening a file
Hello lyxers, I'm using lyx 1.1.6fix3b on a windows NT based computer, through cygwin. I'm currently writing my PhD and I've created a lyx-file for each chapter. Unfortunately, when the files are growing (30-40 pages), lyx hangs more and more frequently when loading one of theses files. Did someone face with this problem and what could be the solution (divide each file in smaller ones...)? I would not have to upgrade for a new version of lyx now... table header/caption, the cell extends. All I want is to have a fixed
width of a particular column and if the data within the cell is long, it
will just moves down the next line but not the next row, just like in MS

Check the table dialog, you can set a fixed size for a column.
I did it and it works - to have a fixed size of the column. But the new
problem is if one of the cells has a long number of characters and if, for
example, I fixed the size of that particular column what happens is it
occupies 3 equal lines for that row INCLUDING all other cells. In short,
all cells has the height of 3 equal lines.

Lyx-1.2.1 problem export to ps
Hello, After a lot of search, I finally found what was wrong with my document: When you have ERT inside image float under 1.1.6fix4 (ps view works fine under lyx-1.1.6fix4), this float is badly imported under lyx-1.2.*. When you try view ps under lyx-1.2.1, latex generated 2 errors. I have built an example (in this example, I use psfrag but you have the same result without psfrag). You can't, each cell of a line must have the same height.

unknown textclass error
Just updated to 1.2.1. Now when I open the hollywood template, I get the following error. This document uses an unknown textclass "hollywood"... Anybody know how to fix this. I tried running reconfigure under the edit menu to no effect. -- Daniel Goldin 323.225.1926 [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Lyx-1.2.1 problem export to ps
Hello, After a lot of search, I finally found what was wrong with my document: When you have ERT inside image float under 1.1.6fix4 (ps view works fine under lyx-1.1.6fix4), this float is badly imported under lyx-1.2.*. When you try view ps under lyx-1.2.1, latex generated 2 errors. I have built an example (in this example, I use psfrag but you have the same result without psfrag). This lyx file has been designed under lyx-1.1.6fix4. You just have to open it under lyx-1.2.1 and do a view ps. Your sincerely, Yann COLLETTE LyxTest.tar.gz Description: application/tgz
