Yes, that or local layout, which could solve my problem this time.

Your installed lyx seems to be compiled without hunspell support.

Are you sure this is the biber log produced with the minimal example you
submitted? The biber log reads

[206] Biber.pm:3130> INFO - Looking for bibtex format file 'referencs.bib'
[206] Utils.pm:137> DEBUG - Looking for file 'referencs.bib' via kpsewhich
[246] Utils.pm:141> DEBUG - kpsewhich returned error: (Inappropriate
ioctl for device)
[246] Utils.pm:153> DEBUG - Could not find 'referencs.bib' via kpsewhich
[246] Utils.pm:185> ERROR - Cannot find 'referencs.bib'!

It is thus looking for a bibtex file called "referencs.bib" [sic!].
Check if you are loading this file (instead of the desired one) in
preamble via \bibliography or \addbibresource.

BTW you also seem to have a superfluous
\DeclareLanguageMapping{english}{english-plain}

in the preamble, presumably from a trial with biblatex-apa.

An up-to-date version of lyx for openSUSE 13.1 can be found here:

http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Publishing/openSUSE_13.1/

That one is complied with hunspell and enchant support (but without aspell).

I built it myself. So that will be the reason. Thanks for your answers.

I am working on quite a number of similar lyx-documents without facing

The example attached is one out of five using biblatex (instead of
bibtex) and all five worked fine for a long time.
For reasons I do not know none of those five works anymore. All in a

regular basis is to keep my system up to date.
So this may have to do with one recent update!?

All my other lyx-documents using bibtex compile just as ever with some
using multiple (up to four) bibliographies.

Note: Scott Kostyshak found Bibtex Errors when compiling the attached
mini example.

Any hint, similar experience?

Please send the complete LaTeX and biber logs (you can access them in LyX via

Moin Jürgen,
As for Biber-Log I am not sure whether this is the correct file, sorry.
If it is not, where can I search for it? Or is it contained in the
Latex-Log?

I am most grateful that you are prepared to attend to my problem.
Meanwhile I have made an update and when this did not help a clear new
installation of openSUSE 13.2 as well - all unsuccessful.
I cannot imagine that it has to do with my file system switch from all
EXT4 to BTRFS for root and XFS for home for everything else runs as
perfectly as before that switch.
I don't exactly remember when I did that. But I think I created the
respective LyX-documents first and did the switch afterwards.

Hunspell not found

2015-12-14 Thread David
Dear list,

I'd like to use Hunspell as spellchecker in Lyx (2.1.4) but it seems
that it is not found (see screenshot attached).

Hunspell is definitely installed on my system (Opensuse 13.1). For
example, a

hunspell -D

on the command line prints the installed dictionaries. The log of the
output of

lyx -dbg any

contains the following line

table[57]: tag: `\hunspelldir_path' code:57

but I don't know if it's relevant. Also, I tried a reconfigure.

On another that I use and which is running Ubuntu, Hunspell works in Lyx.

Any thoughts on this problem?

Thanks,
David

That's the case for a LyX compiled without Hunspell support.
Where did you get your LyX from?

This is irrelevant for LyX.

In case of a self compiled LyX install the devel package for hunspell.
Otherwise ask the packager of the LyX package you've installed.
