Spell check on 1.6.6.1
Hi,
the lyx spell checker does not seem to work properly on lyx 1.6.6.1. It
skips words that are obviously typed in the wrong way. "distroy"
("destroy" would be right) is not found in 1.6.6.1. However, lyx 1.6.2
which I have as a parallel installation finds the error. "distroy" is
neither part of my personal English dictionary nor of the Aspell
dictionary. Lyx 1.6.6 also skips other words that 1.6.2 finds. What is
wrong here?
Another thing that annoys me for a long time now is that the spell
checker (not version specific) is well able to add "person's" to
my personal dictionary but not "persons'" and other words with
an apostrophe at the end. How can I teach lyx to do that?

Hi,
The package I am working with adds adds large spaces before and after a
section header. At the moment I add \vspace{-.5cm} before and after the
section header to equal that out. Is there a way to include the two
vspace in the definition for section in the layout file? Thanks in advance

Hi everybody,
I would like to have different page margins in the table section of my
document that in the rest of the documtent.
I added this before the Table section in ERT
\setlength{\evensidemargin}{-1cm}
\setlength{\oddsidemargin}{-1cm}
\addtolength{\textwidth}{2cm}
Unfortunately only everything else but the caption width adjusts. Any
suggestions to make the caption to adjust, too? Thanks in advance
