Mark, this is a Beamer issue, not a LyX one And why do you want to do that in the first place? Just continue on the next slide by starting a new environment. Hi el Thanks a lot for that but can you show me how the code allows transferring lists across page breaks? I can’t do this in Beamer slides for some reason - I did raise this about a year ago we it’s no resolution. But it clearly achieved here could you please show me how we can continue lust numbering over slide/ pages please!! It screws up my lecture notes continuously! For the base size, you may just define 14pt as a class option. 14pt is not a valid option for standard classes (10pt, 11pt, 12pt) You need package extsizes or you define the new fontsize by yourself.
