I have installed Lyx 1.6.1 on a kubuntu 64 bit (Version 8.10). It seems to work fine, and produce correct pdf output. However, some thing are not shown in the equations (in the Lyx editor): integrals, summation signs, etc. Have I neglected to install anything? I have used dpkg to install it, because the ubuntu repositories are behind the times. Thanks,
