Jürgen They are downloadable but you need to know that they put the binary in /usr/local/bin, after deleting the one in /usr/bin. One more question: Which is the most appropriate version for Ubuntu 7.10: lyx-1.5.2-1_dapper_i386.deb lyx-1.5.2-1_etch_i386.deb lyx-1.5.2-1_i386.deb What are the differences? I used the etch version.
