In my experience, this just works, so there's not enough information
here to do more than guess at the problem. If you get the "success"
message, then it was presumably sent to and received by Mailman core.
Is it in the moderation queue? If you just set up the server, you may
be considered a "new user" and your message held.
Try refreshing your browser window.
Is there anything in the logs?
Is the archive qrunner running?
