They keep being subscribed just for digests; as no digests are send, they get no messages at all. -- Mailman-Users mailing list -- mailman-users@python.org To unsubscribe send an email to mailman-users-le...@python.org https://mail.python.org/mailman3/lists/mailman-users.python.org/ Mailman FAQ: http://wiki.list.org/x/AgA3 Security Policy: http://wiki.list.org/x/QIA9 Searchable Archives: https://www.mail-archive.com/mailman-users@python.org/ https://mail.python.org/archives/list/mailman-users@python.org/

If I do that, will existing subscribers at example.com be unsubscribed or otherwise damaged? No. In Mailman 2.1 it only affects new subscription requests or changes of address. Existing members with banned addresses are not affected. This is not the case in Mailman 3. There, a banned address also cannot post even if it is a member. -- Mark Sapiro The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, Californiabetter use your sense - B. They get no email If you want them to get mail, there is a withlist script at https://www.msapiro.net/scripts/set_nodigest.py (mirrored at https://fog.ccsf.edu/~msapiro/scripts/set_nodigest.py) which will set a list to be non-digestable and set all the digest members to regular delivery. Depending on what access you have to cPanel (see https://wiki.list.org/DOC/Mailman%20and%20CPanel) you may or may not be able to run withlist. If not, you'd have to go through the membership list pages and uncheck `digest` for all the users for whom it's checked. -- Mark Sapiro The highway is for gamblers, San Francisco Bay Area, Californiabetter use your sense - B. [Mailman-Users] Elimination of Digest
I am running Mailman 2.1.35, cPanel. I have an existing list with both regular and digest delivery set up. If I turn off the digest, what happens to those subscribers who selected digest? are they deleted, or is their mode changed to regular delivery? Thanks!
