[MlMt] gmail Too Many simultaneous connections. (Failure)

2014-10-28 Thread Max Andersen
I've starting getting this error popping up very often:

“A2 NO [ALERT] Too many simultaneous connections. (Failure)”. Command
attempted: “A2 AUTHENTICATE PLAIN ••”.

Any idea on how to avoid that ? :)

Thank you for the 1.8 release Benny, it's very stable for me!

Improved graphics is one of the least important things for me. I don't
mind the default OS X look for folders and the text buttons at all and
are they not easier to maintains between OS X releases?

Don't make more work for yourself than necessary.

My biggest interest is that MailMate is profitable enough for you so
that you are able to maintain it and polish it for decades to come. A
bit like what BareBones does for BBEdit.

I'll second that. Keep it profitable and something you like doing.

I'm not planning any changes which would make it harder to maintain.
It's more like the opposite. Certain parts of the GUI are a bit too
non-standard, for example, the headers view and the custom status bars
(which have bad accessibility behavior).

That would be nice, but making it profitable for the long run might also
require visual improvements.

[MlMt] feature request: Preview panel: adjust window

2014-10-28 Thread Dries Geeroms

Hi Benny list,

Feature request here. Sending it to the list to see if anyone else would
be interested and bump it up the priority list.

I'd love a [TextMate-like
preference](http://glui.me/?i=7pkw8src8x4hqaq/2014-10-29_at_10.52_am.png/)
to adjust the window size when displaying the Preview panel (I display
it on the right).

That way the message source doesn't get resized.

There also seems to be [a visual
bug](http://glui.me/?i=bbcb2bysfv1fw2d/2014-10-29_at_11.17_am.png/) when
toggling the preview Panel. Doesn't happen all the time and I haven't
been able to consistently recreate it.

cheers
Dries
