Building is one thing. Running correctly is another.
The recipe is available, consequently it wouldn't be so difficult to
take up the work which, I agree is time and resource consuming. A
strong will also helps... Unfortunately I'm missing some of the afore-
mentioned.

Just out of curiosity: are you working on TeX Live packaging? In the
afirmative, are you taking into account the work that I have done for
it, especially the patch set?
