[mapguide-users] Re: UntypedResource again

2012-05-01 Thread Hans Milling
I've solved it now. I compiled both my own application and the maestro api
with the 32 bit signed dll files. Then int worked on the 32 bit server. I
have also removed the version information from all references to avoid any
problems when running the application on MGOS2.2 Maestro DLL files (version
1.0.0.1) or the AIMS2012 DLL files (version 2.3.0.4202).

[mapguide-users] Re: MapGuide Open Source 2.4 Preview Release 2

2012-05-01 Thread Steve G
I tried to install using the InstantSetup bundle on an older XP box using
IIS (5.1) and came to figure out that it would not work because it does not
have the appcmd utility. The instant setup utility has a tab named IIS7 so
I guess that is the minimum IIS version needed to install using the
InstantSetup bundle? If that is correct, perhaps a note can be placed on
the Release Notes page under that download link to disclose that
information. Looks like a great tool...thanks for contributing!

[mapguide-users] One more time .... Multiline !

2012-05-01 Thread Jamo
Hey guys I've been searching Nabble for answers to the justification of
multiline text

I would like to know is it possible to align text centrally when labelling a
polygon point or line ...

So at the moment foobar\nbar\nboofar would come out like:
foobar
bar
boofar

when instead it should come out like below where the geometric center of the
extents of the text would be the insertaion point specified by the layer.
foobar
  bar
boofar

2012-05-01 Thread Jackie Ng
OpenLayers 2.11 and newer versions make presenting a MapGuide map on a mobile
device dead simple.

The only real hard work should you take the OpenLayers route, is the
mapguide-specific functionality around it (legend, tooltips, selection)
