There are marketing people in Chicago? :-) I'd love to attend, but I'm stuck in the northwest and I'm busy with school anyways. Carla Schroder is a press person who's been pretty friendly towards us. Any way we could get this bug fixed and then send her an email? Maybe she'd write about it ... (And please don't send her any emails of it's already fixed if she'd just do this or it won't be fixed because ... or ...) I'd be surprised that this is the case. Gedit and Gnumeric both use gio/gvfs at least in their latest releases. It might be a good idea to send an email to that list, and see if there is an interest in having a dinner or something with the wider group of Chicago GNOME'ies, or to see if anybody who happens to be in the Chicago area might also be interested in participating.
