Hi Allan, I asked Alex whether he'd be prepared to be an author on GNOME News, so these are being submitted for publication on gnome.org/news - do you not think that's a good idea? The reason I didn't suggest that was simply that we haven't carried that kind of content on gnome.org in the past. Carrying more news on the main gnome.org site could make a lot of sense though, and it's actually something I've been interested in doing for a while. If we were to carry more in-depth news content on gnome.org, the site might need some work (posts aren't shown as being provided by individual authors right now, for example; also there's no comments system, and it doesn't particularly look like a news site). More importantly, we don't have an editorial system, either to ensure quality or to schedule and organise new posts. All of this could be corrected, of course, and this could be a good opportunity to think about what direction we want to take. I can potentially help a little, but I don't have much time for marketing work at the moment. There aren't that many. I guess your right, I ll write in the next days a Gnomers facewall webapp, that you can search on it: Searching (by names, by locations, by projects maybe) . Search will make faces that don't match the criteria to pop-out from the wall, and you will be able to arrange people on a Google Map also. Clicking on a face will force a pop-up with personal details. I ll store the data on json files so it could be easy to modify and then you can use a database like mongo to store them in minutes. I ll make a demo with 10 people and if you like it, you can feedback me your details and include them, because is impossible to find info for everyone. And by the way would be nice if you had such a page. Hello, We are getting some interviews from Gnome Devs and I was wondering if you want to print them in Gnome.org as you had said. We had Joaquim Rocha (that I didn't know he was a Gnomer), Elena Petrevska and we are waiting from Tiffany Antopolski and Allan Day. Do yo want me to wait till you print them these on Gnome org, and then I will re-print in Wogue or you haven't a interview section yet?
