 Hi all,

I'm blowing my own trumpet a little here, I guess, but I thought that
you might like to know that I had an article published in this month's
Prgrammez!, as part of their special Linux development issue:
 http://www.programmez.com/magazine.php?num_magazine=118

The source code from the article, which is pretty simple (GtkWindow with
menu + text area + status bar, hook the File-Save signal File-Quit
signal to show how signals work), is online on that page.

I think the article is already out of date (it was written in February)
because I talk about converting glade files to GtkBuilder files, and I
believe glade now generates GtkBuilder files directly in 3.5.

 Cheers,
 Dave.

Hi,

There should be a press or articles page on developer.gnome.org -
Fred, can you tell us if any infrastructure for something like this
exists (and is maintained)?

Cheers,
Dave.

developer.gnome.org is dead. We can add links to appropriate pages on
library.gnome.org, for instance to pages on live.gnome.org that are easy
to keep up to date. I don't personally think there's enough developer
tutorials in the press to make it worthwhile.

Fred, can you tell us if any infrastructure for something like this
