I’m looking for any good examples of metadata description languages that
would allow a user to define the data fields, validation and forms for
different records. I’ve come across this article
<https://www.box.com/blog/designing-metadata-templates-to-evolve-a-technical-overview/>
about how Box approached the problem and we’re looking for something
similar that is open source.

Has anybody had any experience with this in the sector or know of any good
implementations?
