Tidak.
Umumnya free public mail tidak mengaktifkan Return Receipt confirmation,
tetapi read receipt diaktifkan (optional di webmail, bisa di non
aktifkan oleh pemilik akun).

MDaemon Anda kirim ke host/receiver yang salah sehingga ditolak.

Dan yang jadi masalah DNS resolver yang jadi acuan MDaemon.

Kalau resolve mestinya akan didapat

amarishotel.com mail is handled by 30 mail3.amarishotel.com.

Coba diperiksa idle time out untuk DNS resolver tersebut, mungkin karena
DNS itu sibuk sehingga lama responsenya.

hanya saja outlook itu sensitive terhadap SSL certificate sehingga kalau
pakai Self Sign Certificate perlu di accept dulu agar tidak muncul pop
up warning terus menerus.

kalau di ThunderBird dan mobile device client sudah ada mekanisme untuk
accept SSL self sign certificate sehingga tidak perlu ada perlakukan
khusus seperti outlook.

Koneksi kriptografi SSL secara umum ada 2 macam:

- Implict SSL mode (secure socket layer)

PO3  - port 995/SSL
IMAP - port 993/SSL
SMTP - port 465/SSL

- Explicit SSL mode aka TLS (transport layer security)

POP3 - port 110/TLS
IMAP - port 143/TLS
SMTP - port 587/TLS

keduanya secure, hanya beda saat memulai koneksi.
SSL pakai Secure Connection sejak memulai koneksi, sementara TLS berawal
dari plain lalu berpindah (switch) ke Secure Connection (sehingga sering
disebut juga STARTTLS).

port 465/SSL sudah usang (deprecated) tidak lagi dipakai orang, bahkan
tcp port itu sudah diubah peruntukkannya oleh IANA untuk "URL Rendesvous
Directory for SSM".

Outlook support TLS mulai outlook2007, asal dijalankan di Win7 keatas
yang OSnya sudah mendukung TLS protocol.
SSL/TLS merupakan tanggung jawab dari Operating System bukan aplikasi.

Kecuali Anda melakukan pemaksaan dengan tidak membolehkan lagi plain

BTW. SSL/TLS tidak mendukung IP address, hanya host name.
Artinya di account profile harus pakai nama host bukan IP untuk isian
incoming/outgoing mail server.
