I have a way to duplicate this:

Download this area:

http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=53.3794lon=-8.9711zoom=14layers=B000FTF

Join way_28530421 (waterway=river) to way_28530422 (waterway=stream)

The end of the stream (at Augcloggen) will be joined to to river,
rather than the closest node.

Note that if you reverse the direction of the stream, then the correct
node will attach to the river.

Yes.  Just build from source and then type:

Thanks for response.

Yes. I'm using Windows version. First time I performed rollback of the area
border joining. Second time I was drawing the borders of the river. I can
provide you with memory dump if you will send me binary with debug
information.

BTW join operation does not work obvious. I select two roads and click Join.
It joins these two roads and also joins the end of the first road to the

Hmmm... I didn't know about the TAB key option.

Well, here are some bugs to the TAB option now that I've tried it.

1. Pressing the TAB key once disables any sort of multiple selection until
you restart the browser.

2. In separate move mode, TAB key cannot help in moving that node since
the object to be moved is completely separate from the selected object(s)
and the object that can be moved is the object that is highlighted near the
mouse pointer.

And related to the above bug, the TAB key destroys any existing multiple

Yes.  Just build from source and then type:

 gdb ./binaries/bin/merkaartor
 (gdb) run

When it crashes, you can type:

 (gdb) thread apply all backtrace

Re: [Merkaartor] Final(?) point release of 0.15 next Sunday

2010-03-15 Thread Eugene Alvin Villar
Well, I have this general problem of having a hard time selecting nodes if
there are a lot of other objects layered along with it (such as ways that
don't include the node or relation bounding boxes).

What happens is that the occluding way or relation bounding box gets
highlighted on hover and I sometimes have to move the mouse pointer very
slowly or zoom in too much to be able to select the node.

I haven't filed the bug in trac yet since I couldn't find a way to reproduce
the problem consistently. It happens in both 0.14 and 0.15.

 Hi All,

Just to inform you (especially the packagers) that I plan to make a
point release of 0.15 next Sunday, with the latest fixes.
Unless blockers or serious enough bugs surface, this should be the
 last 0.15 release.

If you still have serious bugs under your hood and didn't dare to
report them, please do it now ;-)

Did you try the TAB key?

Selecting an object, then pressing TAB cycle the features around the
point you clicked...
