I just commited a patch that remove feature destructors cleanups (that shouldn't be necessary anymore) that lead to those closing-time crashes. Could you please test and check for adverse effects. Hmmm... I didn't know about the TAB key option. Well, here are some bugs to the TAB option now that I've tried it. 1. Pressing the TAB key once disables any sort of multiple selection until you restart the browser. 2. In separate move mode, TAB key cannot help in moving that node since the object to be moved is completely separate from the selected object(s) and the object that can be moved is the object that is highlighted near the mouse pointer. Well, I have this general problem of having a hard time selecting nodes if there are a lot of other objects layered along with it (such as ways that don't include the node or relation bounding boxes). What happens is that the occluding way or relation bounding box gets highlighted on hover and I sometimes have to move the mouse pointer very slowly or zoom in too much to be able to select the node. I haven't filed the bug in trac yet since I couldn't find a way to reproduce the problem consistently. It happens in both 0.14 and 0.15.
