Re: [meteorite-list] Nininger's Meteorite Museum Ruins

2017-07-27 Thread Meteoriti.LV via Meteorite-list
Hi!

Thank you all very much for the advises! Does anybody knows who is the land
owner of the place of Nininger's Ruins? And were could I find the contacts?
It would be a really good thing if I could contact the owner, indeed. I
certainly want to do it all in legal way.

Best Regards,
Karlis

[meteorite-list] Nininger's Meteorite Museum Ruins

2017-07-21 Thread Meteoriti.LV via Meteorite-list
Dear Friends,

Could somebody tell if that is possible and how to reach the Ruins of the
old Nininger's Meteorite Museum? I heard that the road is closed but is
there any way to visit a place?

In a few weeks time we will visit US for the great Solar Eclipse and we
have included Barringer crater in our car trip.
I have never been there at the site so I would appreciate any advise.
Thanks!

Re: [meteorite-list] ?jupiter meteorite

2016-03-20 Thread Meteoriti.LV via Meteorite-list
Hi,

The chance for the gas Jupiter meteorite is 0 indeed.
However, theoretically the chance for meteorite from Jupiter moons is a bit
larger than that.
Of course, much greater is chance that such Jupiter moon meteorite will
fall on Jupiter itself rather than escape its gravity.
And even less chance for it to get into collision with Earth.
None have been discovered.

Cheers
