2020-06-08 Thread Todd Dziuk via Meteorite-list
Hello everyone.
Just throwing this out there in case anyone is interested (that lives in or
near Holbrook AZ).
I’ll be working near and staying in Holbrook for most of this week, and I’ll
have afternoons open to do some hunting. Let me know!
Regards,
Todd Dziuk

This 2800g IAB Nantan Meteorite was discovered in 1958 in Nantan, Guanxi,
Southwest China. The fall was observed and clearly recorded in Chinese
historical literature, it happened on 7 June 1516 over an 8 km length of
area. Anyone interested please get in touch.

Ok. This is starting to sound like an April Fools gag, or the Meteorite Gods
were generous that day.

[meteorite-list] New find Phoenix

2017-04-06 Thread Todd Dziuk via Meteorite-list
Found a 204 gram stoney specimen in the Phoenix area. I've tried to post pics,
then links to pics to no avail. It's been a long time since I've been plugged
into the meteorite community. I would like someone to at least have a look.
Thanks.

[meteorite-list] Found suspected iron meteorite

2015-11-18 Thread Todd Dziuk via Meteorite-list
I recently found what I believe is a small iron meteorite here in Phoenix, AZ.
I've been out of the loop for awhile and find out that ASU Center of Meteorite
Studies no longer accepts samples for testing/verification.
Does anyone have other recommendations for having it tested?
