I would be willing to end the auction and sell it to someone on the list for the right amount. If anyone is interested with an offer , please let me know. Re: [meteorite-list] Televue eyepiece AD
Humm, Didn't Mike Farmer chastise me for this practice when I asked sellers of something I wanted to remove the item from Eay after I made an offer, or in right words, let's make a deal then remove it? Something about Ebay's rules. BTW-- I still hate ebay, and will always try to make a reasonable deal without it. You said that I did that to you in a very sarcastic way, take a look at it if you don't think you did, then in the reply you still do that. Steve, I have been very nice to you always, and although we do not agree on ebay, there is no call for you to put my name where it does not belong, so even though I told you it was'nt me, instead of simply retracting your statement, you just get more sarcastic about it. I didn't say that, regardless of any other thing I have ever said, so don't use my name unless I do the deed you are telling every member of this list that I did. Mike... Hold on ! I am not accusing you, nor am I in any way interested in getting into a argument. You did not say it-- fine. No problem, I stand corrected. And your argument against my stand on Ebay was noted as you said that I had bought samples there, and that my argument was against Ebay was stupid. My response was that I did that only when I had no other choice. In other words, offering to buy them after the item was removed from Ebay. I thought it was you that said that that practice was illegal and against Ebay rules. But again, sorry for getting your ire up. Its a mistake, I am corrected. Steve, THAT IS EXACTLY what I did, here is my first reply. (Steve, actually it was not me, I suggest you go back and look in the archives before you accuse me. thanks Mike Farmer) Now, I suggest you look at this very simply, and not say another friggin word about what I might have said in different conversations. My points made simple 1. you used my name, and said that I said something which I did not. 2. I called you on it and said that you should go review the emails and see that I did not say what you said. 3. You got really pissy and jumped me acting as though I really jumped the gun and took it the wrong way. 4. There is only one point to this. You said I did something that Idid not, and instead of simply correcting yourself, you went into another accusation. Simply put, I don't like to be falsly accused of saying somthing that I did not. Steve, you need to step back, read your emails, and punctuation markes and study what they mean. The argument started here this is your reply to me when I asked you to check your history to see it wasn't actually me. You say sorry, but then you add some conversations that had NOTHING to do with your email. It is like saying sorry, but you deserved it anyway. ] Good night Steve. I called you on it and said that you should go review the emails and see that I did not say what you said. 3. You got really pissy and jumped me acting as though I really jumped the gun and took it the wrong way. 4. There is only one point to this. Re: [meteorite-list] Televue eyepiece AD
You know what Mike, You have a hard time accepting an apology. That is a problem that you will have to deal with. All I can do is say I am sorry, and from that point it is your will to accept it, or as it seems you have, reject it. I think your response demonstrates your mind set, or set of mind. Certainly not mine. As for me, I think I am finished with this trivial argument, and might just look at those Televue eyepieces (that this post is all about) for my telescope. Mars is coming in close this summer, the closest to earth in over 60,000 years, and those eyepieces might do my refractor good. And also enhance my appreciation of the Martian meteorites that I have acquired.
