Re: [MMouse]: tops...
My top ten changes about every month or so, especially around the Christmas season when I can't afford new cds. It's so funny how everyone, say, that would go to a joan of arc concert or a mm one, likes the same music. But people who like, say, (ew), Bush, will also like the Wu Tang Clan too. Anyway... Rainer Maria - - Rainer Maria Schoenberg - - Pierrot Lunaire Pedro the Lion - - It's Hard to Find a Friend and the Whole EP Damien Jurado - - Water Aves. Velour 100 - - Songs from the Rainwater EP MM - - TLCW Jawbreaker - - Dear You Soul Junk - - 1955 Dear Ephesus, - - The Consolation of Pianissimo and The Absent Sounds of Me Havalina Rail Co. - - anything, even the stuff they didn't put out yet. There are numerous shout outs as well... Failure's cover of Enjoy the Silence, anything off Jackson Rubio Records, (and Up for the most part). -rachel Thank heaven for people who do not think! - - Adolf Hitler
Re: [MMouse]: Album of the year
Everyone knows about this band, their first album on Matador, "Telefono", is great. I found "A Series of Sneaks" in the bargain bin, and it's pretty bad comparatively. I listened to it once and now it's collecting dust. Plus, everyone in Austin hates 'em. 8*) On Mon, 7 Dec 1998 [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Best album this year? Spoon, "A Series of Sneaks." How come so few people know of this band? (Props to you, Natalie) :[EMAIL PROTECTED][EMAIL PROTECTED] :Instant Messenger: stsandaves :http://www.autobahn.org/~coryg

(tiara opened up to boot). Also, Metronome's new tape 'lime green' tape came out, and the 12" split with Orange Cake Mix is out now as well. no new smog album this year??? strange.
