Re: [MOSAIC] To Understand book discussion to begin again!
I have to chime in on this one. I found this book one of the most fascinating reads about education, bar none. It moved my thinking as much as Mosaic did the first time I read it. The discussion we've had is rich and thought provoking. Ellin's clarifications and comments have enhanced our discussions, and helped me focus on ideas that I might have overlooked. If you are considering joining us, please do. I love hearing the various viewpoints and positions and truly believe that the more voices we have the better understanding we can build about reading comprehension. YES! I started reading this book about a month ago and it's almost overwhelming. It had really made me think-hard! I can't wait to join in on the discussion. I've been reading the archived posts from the first group and it's amazing to read all of their great insights.
