[Mpls] RE: Soil Conservation District write-Ins??

2004-10-30 Thread Gina Palandri

Anyone know who the choices are for write-in on the soil and
conservation for district 3? I am confused as to why its listed as a
write in??

Anyone know?

Well, you can write-in a candidate for any office. You may have heard
Doug Mann saying something about that. In the case of HCD District 3,
however, you don't have anyone to select at all. One candidate filed
for the office, but that person has withdrawn from the race, leaving
nobody on the ballot. I imagine that somebody will win as a write-in,
but if nobody is elected on November 2, that HCD Supervisor spot will
be filled with someone chosen by the other members serving on the board.
